The Salvation Army Education and Employment (E&E) has upskilled over 60,000 people since 1978.  At any one time, Education and Employment is helping around 1000 people with education and training needs nationwide. 

We are committed to delivering education that helps people achieve qualifications and matching people to jobs.

Youth programmes - Youth Guarantee

  • With 16 training centres we’re one of NZ’s largest and longest running private training establishments

  • Youth Programmes - Youth Guarantee

    Youth Guarantee programmes are for 16-19 year olds who are looking for foundation learning and to earn NCEA credits at levels 1 & 2.

  • Youth Programmes - Alternative Education

    Alternative education provides an environment for students who are still of an age to be in the compulsory schooling system, but for whom continued attendance at the school in which they are enrolled is not an option.

    Kiwi Next Generation

    Kiwi Next Generation is a free two-year programme being run by The Salvation Army and Variety – the Children’s Charity to help more than 700 young Kiwis address their challenges and achieve their education goals. If you’re aged between 16-19 and are looking for additional support to complete your NCEA qualifications, this programme is for you.

    The Community Driver Mentor Programme matches learner drivers with experienced drivers who volunteer to supervise the learners driving and help them become safer on our roads.
